Art for children is a fantastic opportunity for children to express themselves. It 's fun and allows them to exploit their creative side, but can be very messy! Some simple steps to avoid a catastrophe.
1) Plan ahead
It 'really important to know what you do with them and prepare for what you need ahead of time.
2) Create Zone to be distracted while infants
I like to distract my children with something else while I set as morning tea.Otherwise I have too many "helpers". I usually try to do art / craft outside of the card down.
3) For all the guys Cater
Make sure you have enough material for all children, so there is more fighting brush / glue sticks, etc., are put in a way every child can easily access them.
4) Make sure that washcloths are ready and near
I like clean Extras - washcloths & Bin prepared - before starting, easy access, as you never know when the taskovercome
5) keep expectations low
In my experience, the maximum time with children under 5 years is 10 minutes. However, this depends on your child. Some may be up to 20 minutes, but others can fight the last five minutes.
6) Clean first Messy Stuff.
Clean often, where things are "glue", as some children may still groped for creating and others are running around with a loaded brush. I think my advice here, you remove the things that cause the greatest disorder that is firstColors / glue then unclean hands then you can go back after the children involved in their subsequent work and cleaning the rest of your order.
Enjoy what your children see the results!
